Wouldn’t it be something if the Festival of Lights just “magically” appeared? Well it wouldn’t without our dedicated community and YOU! The light display itself and the fund-raising community events and activites are planned, organized and executed by a dedicated and energetic group of volunteers. With our community growing larger, our need for volunteers is constantly growing, too! We ask you to help in every way possible! You can also earn community service hours, as FOL is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Kick-Off Party Volunteer Planners Needed

FOLĀ events are planned completely by volunteers and are a great way to get to know other people in Ahwatukee while having a lot of fun too! Tasks are broken into smaller sub-committees so the time commitment is manageable and volunteers can use their own skills. Some people prefer to only work on the Kick-Off Party and some love to do the Winetasting, while others are involved in both – it’s really up to you, but every little bit is appreciated! Planning for the Holiday Kick-Off Party is under way and we need you! We have many little jobs that have big importance.

Here’s a list of our sub-committees needing volunteers/coordinators:

  • Social Media & Marketing
  • Logistics
  • Sponsorship
  • Entertainment – Bands and Community Groups
  • Restaurants & Beer Tavern

Email us at admin@folaz.org – we look forward to hearing from you! Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
